The TPH60 has a naturally generated centrifugal force of 60 tons delivered to the pile via four 80 Tonne side clamps at a rate of 3,000 times per minute. This centrifugal force breaks the skin force between pile and soil, facilitating either insertion or extraction.
Insertion and extraction is aided by a further 16 tons of directional force applied by the excavator boom via 12 heavy duty elastomers These elasotomers acting under shear stress store this energy which they then deliver to the pile as the skin force is broken. By constantly loading the directional force the excavator operator controls the insertion or extraction of the pile.
For maximum deployment of the 76 tons combined force, the TPH60 employs a bottom Clamp Used whenever the top of the pile is accessible to excavator boom the bottom clamp acts directly on the centre line of the attachment eliminating any loss to moment.
